Kerr County Most Wanted Program
The Kerr County Sheriff's Office publishes a curated Most Wanted page. It highlights selected cases and points the public toward Crime Stoppers. This program is intended to collect useful information about featured matters, not to provide a complete list of every county warrant.
Use the Sheriff's official Most Wanted page for current agency material. This reference does not copy names, photos, or individual entries. If you need to verify a court case, contact the issuing clerk instead.
The Sheriff's Page Holds Current Profiles
KCSO maintains the program page and can change its selected cases as circumstances change. A curated profile may highlight a priority warrant, but the page does not function as a county court search. A name absent from it may still relate to an unresolved case in Kerrville, Ingram, a JP precinct, County Court, or District Court.
Open the agency's own page for its current instructions. The screenshot below shows only program navigation and reporting guidance, not a wanted-person card.
Only the official source can reflect a later removal, arrest, or change in agency status.
How a Curated List Changes
The Sheriff selects cases for public attention; the materials reviewed do not publish a complete eligibility formula or fixed update schedule. A case can leave a list after arrest, surrender, recall, or another agency update. The court record remains the controlling source for legal status.
Note: A profile is a snapshot and can lag a new court event. Its absence is not proof that no warrant exists; verify the case with the issuing court.
Crime Stoppers Receives Anonymous Tips
Kerr County Crime Stoppers offers an anonymous channel for information about wanted cases. KCSO directs tipsters to its partner program and states that eligible information may qualify for a cash reward when it leads to a felony arrest and grand-jury indictment. No reward amount is promised on this page.
Use the current method shown by the official program. The Sheriff's Office lists the 24-hour tip number as 1-830-896-TIPS and also references KerrTips. Keep any tip number supplied by the program so you can follow its own instructions.

How to Report Information Safely
Use the official Crime Stoppers channel if information concerns a featured case. Share the location and facts you know, and follow the program's instructions about anonymity and follow-up. Avoid posting identifying details on social media or approaching a person yourself.
- Open the official Kerr County Crime Stoppers page.
- Choose its anonymous phone or KerrTips route.
- Describe facts and location without attempting contact.
- Save the program's tip number and follow its reward steps.
Key Point: Report information through the agency's approved channel, then step away. Never follow, confront, or detain a person yourself.
Roundups Are Enforcement Events
Kerrville says it periodically conducts warrant roundups with local law enforcement and its City Marshal. A roundup is an enforcement operation, not a court amnesty or a standing walk-in program. The county materials reviewed do not identify a current countywide amnesty date or schedule.
A 2021 Kerrville amnesty notice is historical and should not be treated as an offer today. Check the city or issuing court for current options, fees, and appearance rules before acting on an old announcement.
Most Wanted Versus Active Warrant
A featured profile is a selected public-safety request. An active warrant is a court order that remains open in its case. Many active orders never appear in the curated program. A most-wanted page cannot verify a citation balance or determine whether a judge has recalled an order.
| Feature | Most Wanted List | Active Warrant |
|---|---|---|
| Scope | Selected cases the agency highlights | Any open order held by a court |
| Who publishes it | Sheriff's Office and Crime Stoppers | Issuing court and service agencies |
| Public visibility | Current official profiles | Varies by court and legal access limits |
| How to resolve | Follow agency and counsel guidance | Ask issuing court about bond or recall |
A Featured List Is Not a Roster
KCSO's page is not a comprehensive active-warrant database. It should not be used to decide whether a person has a pending case or to check a relative's municipal citation. For Kerrville matters, the city court publishes a separate monthly list. Ingram, each JP court, and county clerks keep different records.
Use the official Sheriff's page for tip information and the issuing court for case status. A tip line does not accept formal Public Information Act requests or confirm whether a payment cleared.
Tips and Record Requests Use Different Routes
Crime Stoppers is for confidential information about a selected case. A request for a copy of a public document belongs with the office that holds that record. Do not send a tip through the court clerk or treat a tip number as a case number.
KCSO accepts targeted Public Information Act requests for existing records through its records contact. A request should identify a document, event, or case and can be subject to fees or redactions. It will not create a live warrant-status search.
If a Warrant May Be Yours
Ask a lawyer to verify the case and discuss whether to arrange a surrender, request bond, or seek a recall. If the matter is municipal, JP, county, or district level, the clerk for that court can identify its procedure. Do not rely on a profile's continued presence or removal as a legal status update.
Important: Get legal advice before approaching law enforcement with an active warrant. The issuing court decides bond, hearing, and recall terms.
